Iris Vets was created from a passion to do things differently. Our goal is to provide the best care for your pets, whilst removing the stress of having to take them to the vets.
No appointment is ever rushed. A huge part of our job is getting to know both our clients and patients.
We are family run and independent vets.
We are based in Wakefield and cover parts of West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire.

Hi I'm Olivia,
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2016 from the University of Liverpool and over the years in practice, I saw first hand how vet trips could be problematic for both pets and their owners.
Particularly cats, which can become very stressed as soon as they spot the carrier! Also elderly patients, who might struggle to travel to appointments due to their mobility.
In August 2024 I opened my own mobile vets, with the goal of being able to offer gold standard treatment to dogs and cats from the comfortable surroundings of their own home without any time pressures.
My main interests are pain management related to arthritis, medicine cases, along with advocating cat friendly protocols during visits.
